Wediko's School-Based Services has a long history of providing child-focused clinical consultation as well as school-based individual, group, and family therapy. Each year, direct services are provided to over 1000 children and families in schools within a two-hour radius of the Boston offices and in New York City.
Close collaboration with schools, families, and other service providers helps to support positive environments in which children can feel safe to grow and achieve success.
Wediko consultants work together with school leaders to assess a school's needs and to develop a strategy for action. Consultants offer a full menu of services that address needs of the whole school or the individual student, as well as the needs of targeted subgroups (e.g., classrooms that are not spending adequate time on learning, transitions that are disorganized or ineffective, or students who are losing their focus on learning).
