Wediko Children’s Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Pearis as the new Executive Director beginning January 17, 2018.
Michael joins Wediko from the Home for Little Wanderers, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, acting as senior advisor to the President and responsible for the financial, facility, and IT functions of the organization. Michael, an accomplished leader, brings to Wediko extensive experience in financial management as well as non-profit leadership.
Before joining the Home for Little Wanderers, Michael served as the Director of Finance for the City of Providence, Rhode Island. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer at Child and Family, President/CEO at About Families, LLC and Chief Operating Officer at Meeting Street.
Michael earned a B.S. in Business from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and an MBA from Pepperdine University, The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management. He is thrilled to be joining Wediko and continue building on the successes the agency has had over the years.
John Hennessey, Wediko’s Board President, conveyed his gratitude to Ivette Rodriguez and Michael Clontz, the current Co-Interim Executive Directors, for successfully leading the organization during the period of transition.
