Run the 2011 Boston Marathon® with Wediko!
Wediko has selected our 2011 Wediko Marathon Team. We are still looking for pre-registered, qualified runners to join our team!
Know someone who already has their number? We are also looking for runners who successfully registered with the B.A.A. (or have a number through another means) who are interested in the benefits of running with a team and raising money to support Wediko’s programs. (These runners would have a different fundraising requirement.)
Sponsorship packages are available. Sponsorship with Wediko Children's Services offers a unique opportunity for area businesses and corporations to show their commitment to children and families in their community. Sponsorship at the $10,000 level includes a spot on the 2011 Wediko Boston Marathon® Team, which includes an official 2011 Boston Marathon bib. Some conditions apply.

Benefits of being a member of the Wediko Marathon Team:
· Guaranteed race number for the 2011 Boston Marathon on April 18, 2011
· Connect with a team of runners who are committed to training for a marathon and raising money to support Wediko
· Receive coaching and fundraising support from Kate Patton Regal of Wediko who has run
· Weekly team training runs
· Fundraising handbook with lots of strategies to assist you in raising money, including access to online fundraising
· Wediko Marathon Team running singlet, pre-race pasta dinner, post-marathon party and other surprises
· Frequent support from Wediko coaches and other team members on training and fundraising concerns at our Wediko Marathon Team Facebook page
Responsibilities of being a member of the Wediko Marathon Team:
· Raise a minimum of $3,250 to support Wediko Children’s Services ($750 for those who have numbers through the B.A.A. or another organization)
· Be physically able to complete the marathon in under 6 hours
· If you are local to
· $250 B.A.A. race application fee that does not count towards your fundraising total
