Job Descriptions: Wediko Children’s Services seeks applicants for the position of child and family therapist in its Boston School-Based Program. Position is September through June, with options for summer employment. Wediko is a non-profit agency based in the South End of Boston that provides short and long-term clinical services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families.
Child and Family Therapist: Provide short and long-term clinical services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families. Collaboration with related service providers is expected of all clinicians. A master’s or doctoral degree and a two-year commitment to the position are required. Two to three hours of supervision per week, in addition to clinical case conferences, didactics, and a year-long family therapy seminar provide ongoing training. Vacations and days off follow the Boston Public School’s calendar. Clinicians who can provide therapy services to Spanish-speaking clients are encouraged to apply.
